After four days of traveling halfway across the country and several adventures, we arrived at Breezy Point Beach, Maryland this afternoon. We were looking forward to an afternoon of relaxing on the beach and a seafood dinner but our plans were changed when Gary accidentally drove off the firmer ground into the sand and got the truck hopelessly stuck! Five hours later and with the help of several very nice people, the trailer was parked where it was supposed to be and we were on the way to Abner's in Chesapeake Beach for a delicious seafood dinner. Tomorrow will have to be a relaxing, unplanned day. We think this bird is a blue heron - saw several as we were sitting around waiting for the tow truck!
