We had a great day in Annapolis today. It is a wonderful old city - we just walked all over the old downtown district oohing and aahing at the cool old buildings. Down by the water at the City Dock is a memorial to Alex Haley and Kunta Kinte from "Roots" because that is the spot where the slave ship landed. We ate lunch at the Middleton Tavern - built in 1750 - and both loved our choices: sea scallop sliders and seafood crepe. Here are a few of the many photos we took today.
